Khardung La

Khardung La is a mountain pass in the Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The pass on the Ladakh Range lies north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. The Siachen Glacier lies part way up the latter valley.

Baralacha La

Baralacha la is a high mountain pass in Zanskar range, connecting Lahaul district in Himachal Pradesh to Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir, situated along the Leh Manali Highway.

Taglang La

Taglang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The sign claims 17,582 feet, which would be 5,359 metres, and claims to be the world’s second highest motorable pass.

Kunzum Pass

Kunzum Pass is a high mountain pass on the eastern Kunzum Range of the Himalayas some 122 km from Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley and Lahaul Valley with the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is on the route to Kaza the subdivisional headquarters of Spiti.

Zoji La

Zoji La is a high mountain pass in Jammu and Kashmir, India, located on the Indian National Highway 1D between Srinagar and Leh in the western section of the Himalayan mountain range. Though often referred to as Zojila Pass in the foreign press, the correct English translation is Zoji Pass or simply Zojila.

Fotu La

Fotu La is a mountain pass on the Srinagar-Leh highway in the Himalayas Zaskar Range in India. At an elevation of 4,108 metres, it is the highest point on the highway, surpassing the famed Zoji La. Fotu La is one of two high mountain passes between Leh and Kargil, the other being Namika La.

Namika La is a high mountain pass in the Himalayas Zaskar Range in India along the Srinagar-Leh highway. Namika La is one of two high passes between Kargil and Leh, the other is the even higher Fotu La Pass.

Pin Parvati Pass

The Pin Parvati Pass is a mountain pass in Himachal Pradesh, India. This pass connects the fertile and lush Parvati valley on the Kullu side with the Pin valley on the Spiti side. It is a popular trekking route today though still rarely visited.

Chang La

The Chang La is a high mountain pass in Ladakh, India. It is claimed to be the second highest motorable road in the world, which is either Merisimik La or Mana pass. Chang La is approached from Leh via Kharu and Sekti village by an asphalt road.

Lungalacha La

Lachulung La is a mountain pass along the Leh–Manali Highway. It is located some 54 km from Sarchu and 24 km from Pang on the Leh–Manali Highway.

Rohtang Pass

Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass on the eastern Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km from Manali. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India. The pass is open from May to November.

Sela Pass

The Sela Pass is the high-altitude mountain pass located in Tawang District of Arunachal Pradesh state of India. It has an elevation of 4170 m (13,700 ft). connects the Buddhist city of Tawang Town to Tezpur and Guwahati and is the main road connecting Tawang with the rest of India.
