Jama Masjid

The Masjid-i Jahan-Numa, commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 at a cost of 1 million rupees, and was inaugurated by an imam from Bukhara, present-day Uzbekistan.

Makkah Masjid

Mecca Masjid also Makkah Masjid, is one of the oldest mosques in Hyderabad, Telangana in India, and it is one of the largest masajids in India. Makkah Masjid is a listed heritage building in the old city of Hyderabad, close to the historic landmarks of Chowmahalla Palace, Laad Bazaar, and Charminar.

Jamia Masjid

Jamia Masjid is a mosque in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. The Jamia Masjid of Srinagar is situated at Nowhatta in the middle of the Old City.

Ziyarat Naqshband Sahab

Ziyarat Naqshband Sahab is a Muslim shrine in Jammu and Kashmir, in India. This shrine is named after the well known Bukhara mystic, Khawaja Syed Bha-u-Deen Naqsaband, the founder of a Sufi order. It is one of the important shrines, located amidst a large garden.

Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah

Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah is the dargah (mausoleum) of one of the world's most famous Sufi saints, Hazrat Khwaja Syed Nizamuddin Auliya (1238 - 1325 CE). Situated in the Hazrat Nizamuddin West area of Delhi, the dargah is visited by thousands of Muslims every week, and sees a fair share of Hindus, Christians and people from other religions.

Asfi Mosque

Bara Imambara is an imambara complex in Lucknow, India, built by Asaf-ud-Daula, Nawab of Awadh, in 1784. It is also called the Asafi Imambara. The complex also includes the large Asfi mosque, the bhul-bhulaiya (the labyrinth), and bowli, a step well with running water. Two imposing gateways lead to the main hall.

Hazratbal Mosque

The Hazratbal Shrine is a Muslim shrine in Hazratbal, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. It contains a relic, the Moi-e-Muqqadas, believed by many Muslims of Kashmir to be a hair of Muhammad. The shrine is situated on the left bank of the Dal Lake, Srinagar and is considered to be Kashmir's holiest Muslim shrine.

Thousand Lights is a multi-domed mosque in Anna Salai in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, is one of the largest mosques in the country and is a revered place of worship and azadari for Shia.

Haji Ali Dargah

The Haji Ali Dargah is a mosque and dargah (tomb) located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the southern part of Mumbai. Near the heart of the city proper, the dargah is one of the most recognisable landmarks of Mumbai.

Pathar Masjid

Pathar Masjid is a Mughal era stone mosque located in the old city of Srinagar, in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is located on the left bank of the River Jhelum, built by Mughal Empress Noor Jehan.

This mosque, situated on the right bank of the Jhelum River, is an excellent example of indigenous wood architecture that draws inspiration from Buddhist, Hindu and Islamic architecture.

Khanqah-e-Moula

Khanqah-e-Moula, popularly known as just Khanqah, is a mosque and a shrine of Said-ul-Auliya Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani located in the city of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. It is located in the Old City on the right bank of the river Jhelum between the Fateh Kadal and Zaina Kadal bridges.
